You have to admit; what he did today was legendary. In my opinion it took giving help in PI and gave it new potential.

i have voted yay, not the fact that he ofered all this help, but because he has the courage to offer what many people say they would do but don't. he made those 2 (allbeit free) calls to get some ideas for the op and gave her options.

Just read the thread in question (first time finding PI forum by the way, so a double bonus!), delighted to read and see that there are still some genuine, good Samaritans out there - if you were to watch the news, read the papers or listen to the radio, you would be inclined to believe they were an extinct species!

Glad to find this thread and acknowledge Red. I hadn't seen the quoted thread before but was veyr impressed with all his help to Lolly22 in the 'Sad and alone' thread on PI.

Despite the 4 a.m. body-burying he deffo comes across as somebody deserving acknowledgement.
