Funny enough the two most expensive cards are the best :p .

If you can you should really try and move to a new PC with a PCI-E ( preferably V2 ) mobo as AGP is getting quite old now.

would this card (http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=341410) be much better than an Nvidia GeForce 5200 PCI

Anything is better than a 5200 pci :-)

What games do you want to be able to play on what sized monitor?

    What cpu do you have?

this would be a much better choice: X1650pro@€64
(if you are on a tight budget)

X2400 pro is not really a gaming card, not that the X1650 pro is either, but it will give much better performance for the €20 odd extra.

The 2400 pro is pure muck in games.

The radeon 3500 for €133 is really the best card there and much better than anything else.

Well if the game is just about able to play on the Geforce 5200 will the X2400 improve it or will it be the same my cpu is an old AMD Athlon64 3700 (2.2Ghz) and the screen is 1024 X 768 the game i am trying to play is Comapny Of Heroes Opposing Fronts

The Fx5200 is total junk, the AGP version is not even supported by Company of Heroes, let alone the bandwidth starved PCI edition. That 2400Pro would be a massive improvement. CPU is fine for COH.

    Another two OK options:

    6600GT - 50

    7600GS - 58

Isnt the 7600GS far far better then the 6600GT?

    I was under the impression a 7600GS was close to a 6800GT

Yeah it's faster but if you wanted to save a few euro....and the GT is factory overclocked to bridge the gap.

7600GS isn't as fast as a 6800gt though, quite a bit slower. The 6800Gt is about as faster as the 7600gs then said card is in turn over the 6600gt.
