    Pearl Jam

    Day 1: Second Stage
    Porcupine Tree
    Opeth
    Dream Theater

    Day 2: Main
    Bloodhound Gang
    Alice in Chains
    Rammstein

    Day 2: Second Stage

Obvious question for me would be how to see them all?

you could have a gap between each act. eg have Bloodhound gang on the main stage then have biffy clyro on the 2nd stage then have AIC then EODM( or visa versa) etc. Or just have one big main stage with all them on it;)

Festivals are usually full of tossers but I think this one day line up should keep them away:

    In this order:

    Motorhead
    AC DC
    Pistols
    Motley Crue
    Original GnR
    Aerosmith

    That might work! :)

Any festival with Europe and Manowar as the headliners would get my vote.

Festivals should be fun, so I'd have

    AC/DC and Metallica Headlining

    Motley Crue
    Guns n Roses
    Tenacious D
    Van Halen
    QOTSA
    Aerosmith
    Judas Priest
    Scorpions
    Whitesnake
    Iron Maiden

    Metallica
    Rammstein
    Die Toten Hosen
    Ensiferum
    Finntroll
    The Arrs
    Frontside
    Burzum
    Rotting Christ
    Pagan Reign
    Eluveitie
    Kerbdog

    That'll do nicely. :)

Prob on different stages, but in a way that I could see them all...

    "Metal" stage

Metallica (headlining) or possibly Iron Maiden
And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
    Tool
    Slipknot
    Deftones
    Mushroomhead
    Devin Townsend

    The "Indie/Alternative" Stage

    Mogwai (headlining)
    The Dandy Warhols
    Mercury Rev
    Guapo
    90 Day Men

    The "Time Machine" stage

    Pink Floyd (headlining)
    Deep Purple
    Genesis
    Emerson, Lake & Palmer
    The Doors
    The Wipers
    Jimi Hendrix

Or maybe spread over 3 days instead of 3 stages would be better...

    Headling-
    The Smashing Pumpkins

    Also-
    The Killers
    U2
    Red Hot Chilli Peppers
    REM
    New Order
    Feeder

I would start the day off early with Feeder and have them appear in the above order from bottom to top and finish the night with a mega set from The Smashing Pumpkins.
Think about it hey? What a day out the above list would be! ;)
