Cheap leather jacket

My dad is looking for a cheap leather jacket, any idea where one could be picked up, something that wouldn't be too hot for the weather thats in it, he has to sell the bike at the end of the summer so doesn't want to go spending hundreds on it

Like your Dad I didnt want to spend a fortune as the jacket is only for mates who might occasionally want to come out on the bike with me.

It is light weight but waterproof and made by Akito so the quality is good. It comes with armour on shoulders and elbows but not the back and there is no pocket into which you can put back armour. That said if you scan eBay you can usually pick up a cheap back protector too. The link above is for a medium but I know if you visit their on line shop (the link to it is on the same page) you will find other sizes too. Im lso not sure what their shipping costs are to Ireland but their telephone number is on their store page on eBay so Im sure if you call them they will look after you.

I got a cheap 2nd hand (hardly used) leather biking jacket on eBay.ie a couple of years ago - cost me £45 (inc postage - which cost more than the jacket did!). No re-inforcement, just padding on elbow and shoulders. I got a back protector in the last Lidl offering, which straps on under the jacket.

I have Cordura jackets as well so the leather is only used occasionally.
