Can't be done. I've tried and it causes an infinite loop that causes boards.ie to run really slowly and eventually go offline.
Bah! So you're at the root of all the slowdowns!

It would be like matter meeting anti-matter, or pasta meeting anti-pasta.

It's like googling the word 'google'.

    Seriously, don't do it.

I typed define: define into google. It exploded. I've an 'ogle' stuck in my eye now.

What happens if a mod say of AH wants to ban another mod of AH.

Does it happen? or do they need to get permission from the Smod/Cmod?

if it were more serious, id just get them demodded.
as it was a fortnights holiday was had, and all was well with the world again.

So when the demmoded mods is their ban is gone?and still able to post again?
EG. A standard member gets a ban will be banned and gone.(cant post etc)
A demodded mod isnt really a ban?
What im trying to say is that looks to me a demmoded mod gets away with their ban?

I suspect someone being demodded might look on that as more of a slap on the wrist than being banned, tbh.

Anyway, why do you care?

They could be banned after being demodded...

Sometimes they're sitebanned for various reasons.

Mods banning other mods can lead to extreme cases of vaginal sand.

Technically, you can't ban a mod from their own forum. However in practise, the effect is the same. Say Dudess gets banned for posting NSFW pics - WWM can't remove her posting access from AH because of the way vBulletin is set up. So he'll tell her not to post for whatever - a week or so. It's the same effect as a regular ban, the only difference is she doesn't have to log out to read AH, she just can't post. If any mod who'd be effectively banned DID post, they'd probably get a siteban, same as anyone else. As I say, the effect is the same, although you could argue that a mod has more to lose, because they could lose their modship.

so, no conspiracy, the same rules apply to all, and that's a good thing.

Wait, so this guy got banned for not posting spam? What a jip.

What if Cloud of Dev breaks the rules, who bans them?

Can't be done. However, the thought of Beruthiel donning her rubber gloves and deliberating over whether or not to actually use lube is probably a sufficient deterrent ... ¬_¬

nope, id get them demodded, and then i would ban them from the forum.
there are not seperate rules for mods and users.

pretty much bang on the money.

however, all of the mods know that i would take an exceedingly dim view if they broke a cufew id put in place.

    Nope. I never knew that.

So lets hope you dont find the post where I called you a **/"+ :@$£;>?

that wouldnt bother me too much.

if you started doing it to users however, id probably make sure you took a permanent holiday from modding :)
