    1.1 degree!

Well done to both of you. Very impressive. :)

I must be the dunce of boards so :(

have to repeat 2 (both PC 's for those in EE)

Could somebody confirm a few things?

I failed a third subject, but passed teh group by compensation: I assume i dont have to repeat it?

I presume the max i can get in the group i failed is 40% ya?

Is my overall mark left uneffected? (as in if im giving 40% in that group i failed my average is 55% , is this automatically dropped to 40%)

Not the dunce no, lots fail a lot of courses in the course you are in. Tongue twister. As far as I know I am the only one to get a first in my class, nearly spoken to them all. It's a hard one!
I don't know if the rules have changed for us but:

    1. I really don't think you have to repeat it. They'll tell you I'm sure.
    2. It was not the case that 40 was the max when I did it, but this may have changed.
    3. This was not the case 2 years ago anyway.

Really no excuse for failing either of those two, but you'll have my notes this time round, actually you had my notes last time round :pac::pac::pac:

Lol they got a set a couple of years ago. It was national news and all! They even had the internet there now, although only if you sit outside office buildings and steal the wireless.

Cheers. No idea why, our course drew the short straw perhaps? I mean I had an interview for a research masters* a few weeks back and they had the results in front of them, so frustrating!

    *I got accepted for it.

    Ah.To do a Ph.D or Pharmacy!

My Chem lectureR told me that it would be wasting my degree to do Pharmacy.

Got my first choices. :D Tbh, it was only Computers in Chemistry which may have squeezed me out of my first choice as the rest of my subject choices were big subjects (Chemistry and Microbiology) so not to hard to get.

Well done. I'm pleased for you. This competition for particular subjects is a bit of a pain. Glad it doesn't affect me. :p

    Ph.D!
By the time you get up to that level of chemistry (and if you do an appropriate thesis) you may be even more hireable (I don't care if it's not a real word, I'm still going to use it) than someone with just a pharmacy degree from the pov of the industry.
