What time are you planning on starting it if you run it on a weekday? Because if it's anywhere before 6/7 then that elminates anyone with a job, which is a lot of people during the Summer.
My vote is for a weekend.

Yup, what with having a fulltime, 9-5.30 (plus commuting time) job, the only time I can definitely book for some hardcore gaming is at the weekend. I'm booked up most weekday evenings anyway.

Also I was wondering if there was really a need for Hamachi as we could just play online in locked password protected games

Naw; can't stand the whole warhammer universe so never took to the DoW games to be honest. I like sci-fi in general, but there's something far more satisfying about CoH than the fairly adolescent DoW universe. In terms of the game itself, I found it less polished than CoH anyway.

Thats what I thought alrite,tryed to play dawn of war the first game in the series last nite in skirmish mode and it felt really different to coh,the gameplay mechanics are similar in that you capture and need to hold point and you can zoom in and out but i dunno it does'nt really feel as tactical as coh or sumthing .

Shame, was looking forward to playing some games. But if people are genuinely interested, there's no reason why an informal play-together couldn't be organised. I means there's a Dublin channel on multiplayer.

I got a new computer as well in september so the issue had of playing online is not a problem anymore.
