Conservatory - Interior Sills

Hi the interior sills...white plastic ones...on my conservatory...have all lifted. When I take them off....they appear to be held down with on a 2x1 baton along the back...and a roughly-laid concrete on the front. They must have been glued or something...as otherwise they just appear to be sitting on the above. Does this…

Does this sound a typical/normal way of housing the sills ??...and has anyone experience or suggestions of the best way of re-setting ?.
