This is the new Hyundai Coupe, it is called the Genesis but don't expect it to be as cheap as the current Coupe. The Genesis is rear wheel drive and will come with an engine line up with decent performance. This kind of technology is not cheap to manufacture. It goes on sale early next year but no idea when in RHD.

Regarding a new Celica well Toyota are planning on making one and it is going to use the Subura Impreza WRX running gear as Toyota now own a share of Subaru. This means it will have 4wd so expect at least 200bhp. As part of the platform sharing Subaru will also introduce a coupe version of the Impreza too. Don't expect to see both before 2010 though.

@Bazz26 - is it not a new chassis Toyota and Subaru are developing for their respective coupe's? I thought Subaru were also toying with RWD for theirs, suggesting similar for the Celica. Either way, should be a decent car.
That Hyundai looks reasonably good, but the drivetrain is the most interesting part! It will actually be a contender this time for the Celica if they can get the chassis right.

Isn't the next Celica a tie up with Subaru and among the more interesting things about it is the fact that it will be using the flat 4 boxer engines from Subaru as well as it being RWD?
