Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not that I know of, although it's possible that they could be done for drinking in a public place if it was in a taxi or bus.

Nope. it's illegal in the US as far as i know.. A silly law in my opinion. I am an avid fan of drinking while being driven

I was driving to a party with a full car and they were all drinking and a bit roudy and ready for a laugh. Anyway, I ended up getting vodka spilled on me from my gf in the passenger seat and 5 minutes later I hear the lovely serenade of the boys in blue....one whiff of the car and of me and I was asked politley to please depart my vehicle. Needless to say it took two breathalyze tests to prove I was sober as a judge, was warned for going a wee bit fast but they said nothing about my obviously rat-arsed friends peering meekly out at the bobbies.

I had a similar experience on the way home from a 21st, with a gang of drunks in the car.. Unfortunately I HAD been drinking.. I was breathalyzed, the result seemed to take an eternity to arrive. When it did, i was told i just barely passed. "A pass is a pass" I said. I'll take it! Happy ending. Drove off into the sunrise.
