Was down in the smoking area of our building a few mins ago and a couple of the lads from the compnay below us were chatting about the hookers they got last week , now I just found it a little strange that this was a topic of conversation so openly almost like exchanging reviews on them, they must have been on call girls cause they came to their homes, had sex with them then left.

So got me thinking is this just one of those thing's that alot of people do and don't talk about, I remember the last time I was in Amsterdam the 4 lads I was with went off and got hookers while I sat in a bar in the red light district , so who has done it or who would and if so did it feel "all business" while in the act?

Nah, never have, never would. When I went skydiving in Texel, I stopped in Amsterdam for the first few nights and the mate I went with tried to convince me to make a 'visit'. I have nothing against other people doing it, especially when it's as regulated as it is in the RLD but it's not my thing.

To the OP who heard the guys from the other company, is it possible these guys work really long hours/spend alot of time on call etc. In jobs like those, where you get paid alot of money but get zero time for yourself or to socialise, I reckon it would be very common, to hire some company.

And to the guy who said "Just go into a bar sure!", some of us were born with out that part of the brain. Not everyone can pull in pubs and clubs. I sure as hell cant.

yes i have slept with a hooker/escort/working girl on a few occasions. purely by free choice and never under the influence of drink, drugs or peer pressure. It's purely a choice i made at the time and have no regrets as such.

Don't see the point in paying for sex when you can go and chat up a girl in a bar, buy her drinks, take her home and give her a good seein to! Most guys I've went over with though have went in at one stage or another. In fairness a lot of the girls in the centre of the red light district are f00kin stunning and it is tempting when drink is involved but it ain't for me...

I say fair play to you for actually coming out and saying it, as stated if this forum was un-reg like PI I think more people would own up to it, I've nothing against doing it has crossed my mind a few times as said but I just wouldn't on the basis that I wouldn't feel right paying for it...don't see the need to, but other people are doing it and enjoying it then good for them..

I wouldn't say it's the same thing...it's more personal meeting a girl in a bar etc. You get to have a chat, laugh, whatever. Sometimes there's also there option of meeting up again if things go well. of course it is the same thing. you are just cutting out the hassle of going to a bar, having to buy drinks, having to get taxi home, etc, and getting straight down to the dirty deed.

in this fast moving modern world where everything is go go go you should look at a hooker as a time saving oppurtunity. instead of taking the whole night to get to your end goal of getting a girl and 'giving her a good seeing to', and then having to suffer the embarrassment and hassle of getting rid of her the next morning, you could just go to your local hooker and get the whole thing done in half an hour. sure you would even be back home in time for dinner and the second half of lost

People saying why pay why you can get it for free is stoopid. You can have no strings attached sex with women that would be way out of most mens league. I would sleep with one but have'nt as of now. I would not sleep with one off the street who are doing it to feed their addictions. Most high class escorts are less likely to have STDs than a drunken slapper you meet in a pub as they are sober and insist on protection. Some people are just not good at chatting up people in bars and don't want to sleep with an unattractive person that approaches them just for a bit of sex.

Wouldn't pay for it myself, think it's taking the service industry a bit far. If it's accepted as a societal norm it should be regulated to avoid the most negative aspects of the "trade".

What about a hot female pornstar? Both have sex for financial gain. I don't think a woman should be judged if she chose to have sex for money at some point in her life just because it does'nt fit into your beliefs about life. Many women choose to do it for financial gain and have no problem with doing it. yes i have, a few times. There are some pretty hot, intelligent women out there who do this for a living. Why? Because I'm useless at chatting up birds in bars. Sleeping with a hooker is a bit like eating fast food. It's fast, service is seldom good, instant gratification but shortly after you are wanting more and if you get some bad taco... well it's not pretty!

Whereas going out and trying to pull a random girl is a bit like going to an upmarket restaurant. The menu can be expensive, you have to wait a long while for dessert, but you are usually satisfied afterwards and you won't be asked to leave straight away!
