Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I never get tired of watching that on youtube. Fantastic times. Could you just imagine the atmosphere in the pubs that day and night.

Just stick the izpAVt_qIUI part in the tags for it to work.

I was 3 years old so all I can remember about the atmosphere is what's in The Van.

Unfortunately I was too young to be in the pub drinking but I remember going outside in the garden about 5 minutes after the final whistle and realising that there were no cars on the road. My parent's house is beside a busy main road but right then, on a summer afternoon there was nothing stirring. That didn't last very long as there seemed to be convoys of honking cars tearing up and down the road for the rest of the evening :).

Yeah i was only 11. I remember the cars honking like mad all day. It was a dirty wet day from memory, well in Dun Laoghaire it was, out playing jumpers for goalposts. God i hope Trapps can do a job and bring back those wonderful times.

I had just turned 5. Apparently I got bored of the Romania game and went out kickin ball on the road. Missed the whole feckin peno shootout. The shame :o

I was doing my Matric that day, hands up who knows what a Matric is.

It was either French or English and you had to stay at least 1 hr, once the hour was up I legged it down the down to the pub, and the one thing I noticed on the way was that the main street was so so quiet .
