    a GHD

I'm sad that I not only know what that means but that I know the prices of all the items in the range...

Cheers! She really should have copped it by now, seeing as over the course of the year red, blue, pink, purple and peroxide blonde hairs have probably turned up on it, and she's a brunette. Oh yeah I also don't have a credit or laser card. That's how they get you you know

    a girlfriend pointless really

I was given a ghd for christmas last year. Yes I have long hair, but I'm still male dammit!

I never even opened it, I've no idea where the thing is now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,070 ✭✭✭✭pq0n1ct4ve8zf5

If you find it can I have it? and yes, men straightening their hair is wrong unless for comedic purposes, I'm all for metrosexuality and general grooming but there's a line like

Are you serious? You could sell it on, they're worth about €170.00

i want one of those new 40" samsung "touch of colour" LCD's. 50,000:1 contrast... mmm
She's constantly amazed at how I get "that GHD look" when all I own is a crappy Babyliss straightener.

    dear god, there's a difference?

    dear god, there's a difference?

Yup, though I strongly suspect it's undetectable to the male eye, therefore rendering all that work before a night out on the pull pointless :( a GHD does a quicker, neater, smoother job compared to most other straighteners. Don't knwo why, I think it's magic or something similar

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,113 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

Dont be silly Paul Daniels is magic thats just hair

    A modship! (amp test, lol ;) )

Apparently it's essential these days to have an interest in all of the following: Desperate Housewives, Friends (even though it's been gone for years), Ugly Betty, Lost, Prison Break, Skins... etc. I watch none of them.
    That kinda counts!

an ipod or mp3 (not sure if these are the same thing tbh)
    hair straighteners
    computer game thingys
    engagement and wedding ring
    babies
    tumbler dryer

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,368 ✭✭✭thelordofcheese

    dear god, there's a difference?

No, not at all. But you can't have people believing that they spent 170 quid on something they'd get from something costing a fraction of the price.

Anyway things that are apparently essential that i don't want

    Ps3/360
    GTA4
An Ipod (though i do want an Mp3 player of some sort)
    a HDTV
    A new PC

I don't have any computer games, nor any hair products (no hairspray/gel/foam/smoother). I don't have a GHD, designer handbags, designer shoes, a PDA, or an expensive salon haircut.

I don't have a hair straightener, my hair is very straight anyway and if I decide to use one I can just rob my housemates. I don't have a watch, wrists scare me so I cant put one on, or bare having one on :o Oh and I don't have any perfume, hate the stuff, it gives me migraines and asthma.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,986 ✭✭✭Red Hand

    ^^^ Good one! I don't have a watch either.

All iPods are mp3 players, all mp3 players are not iPods.

    But god dammit.

    There goes a present idea.

And you'll be getting none of these items any time soon dear, so that's good.

Ha. neither. I'm just part Native American, so my hair is thick and straight all on it's own, requiring little maintenance. And I've never been big on designer labels. Waste of time, tbh.
