Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This might be a stupid question but...

...I have a Logik Internet radio. It only has a Mono Speaker on it.

    BUT.

It does have a 3.5mm headphone IN jack on it.

Is it possible to rig up an old set of speakers from a Philips Hi-Fi to the headphone jack to get the stereo sound?

You sure could but would depend on how the Philips speakers connect together and how much power they would pull.

Usually I'd buy a powerful set of speakers like for a PC.

if its a 3.5mm IN jack then no you cant. thats for connecting up an ipod/mp3 player etc. if it has a headphone 3.5mm/line OUT then yes you can hook up a pair of speakers that are active, not ones from a hifi. they have to be used with a hifi.

active speakers are like the ones that come with computers, they usually need batteries or a power supply.
