    ORIGINAL CLOSED THREAD

Court case was this morning. The Garda that stopped me claimed that she told me to produce my NCT at nearest Garda station.
    She didn't.
    I didn't produce it.
    That's reason I was summonsed.

Anyway, I didn't bother arguing with her, I just pled guilty and was fined €100.... I'm happy enough with that tbh.

Thats not bad but I'd be pissed off about the Garda not tell me.

OP - Did you bring a valid NCT cert to court with you?

Nope... as I don't have one. The Judge said he was fining me €100 and that's taking in to consideration that I didn't produce my NCT after the incident.

How have you learned your lesson if you haven't gotten your car NCT'd yet?

Why didn't you NCT the car when you got the summons? Or am I missing something?

Sorry, I misled a bit there. I'm not driving that car anymore. My current car has an NCT... and all future cars will also ;)
