I don't think you can compare the three. They're all comedies, but the similarity ends there.

Peep Show probably made me laugh the most out of the three of them. But I think Black Books and Spaced have a lot more value in repeat viewing.

I love Peep Show, and Black Books is growing on me (I just finished season 1) but SPACED is just legendary.

I believe both seasons of 'Spaced' is available free on 4OD.. and I couldn't recommend it enough. One of my favourite comedies of all time.

I voted for Peep Show. What a brilliant show. The writers just beat those characters psychologically over and over again. Last weeks episode was some of the most cringe worthy stuff I've ever seen. But still amazingly funny.

I had never seen Spaced before (at all!!) so in the interest of having a balanced view I watched the whole two series on youtube yesterday! Very good show. Can't believe I had never heard of it before. I would say it and Black Books are on a par, but imo still don't touch Peep Show. I found Spaced much warmer and closer to a drama from time to time (esp near the end of series 2).

All three are better than anything I've ever seen come from America btw. It's amazing the crap that country can produce given it's size (with the exception of the American Office and possibly one or two others).

Spaced - pure genius, but possibly won't date well due to all the pop culture references.

of the other two - prefer Peep Show - 5 series in and its showing no signs of flagging (if anything its getting more cringingly peurile, which is a good thing)

Black Books is good, but also a bit hit-and-miss.

I voted for Black Books, I think Dylan Moran is fantastic.

Having said that though, I haven't really seen much of the other two...the above clips of Spaced are hilarious.

Peep show shades it for me. I'm not really sure why it's getting so much flak here. One of the few shows that will make me laugh out loud at the moment.
I'm yet to see series 4 or 5.
Black books I also think is great but it's more likely to enduce knowing smiles than laughs maybe.
Spaced I never saw much of but when I did, I think a lot went over my head due to the many sci fi references. I do think Pegg and Frost are great in their films.
