    Yo,
Would it be possible to have a 'Most Thanked' feature under Top Stats>Users:

I'm intrested to see who's the most charitbale person on boards and subsequently be responsible for the top 5 most thanked posters fighting amongst each other.
Kinda goes against the ethos of the Thanks function to do ranking, which is why it is deliberately not available.

    Okely dokely.
No thanks for you then. :p
FWIW, I made a ranking table anyway :pac:

Available to moderators and subscribers. I think I'll see if I can do something similar with regard to "Prolific Posters" or something, maybe even have it show people going up places and down places!

"You must be logged in and be a Moderator or Subscriber to use this page. "

I'm logged in and subbed, maybe I have to change groups.

    Hmmm, still no dice :-\

Everyone knows its not how many thanks you have but the quality of them;)
Also why can't I thank myself? I work hard and do a job and god damn it I deserve to be able to thank myself, damn boards and their disapproval of self gratification :D:D

No fair, I don't even rank! I'm a very helpful poster!

I should never have looked at that list...

How the fock did Sherifu get 407 thanks?! Is there a secret thanking forum I don't know about?

Thanks per post percentage would more accurately show quality posters.

Most thanks means nothing without taking number of posts into account.

or Nett Thanks: Every time you thank someone, you lose one Thanked Post. (Thanks Difference?) So If 100 people thank me, and I thank 99, I have a TD of +1

    Crap idea tbh.

It would only work if the 'thanks' feature started at the same time as the person's post count. Seeing as the feature only came in a few weeks ago and boards is ten years old it'd be n00bs that would have the highest percentages.

weird, I seem to have dropped off that list, maybe it's cause there's another kind soul (Tom D) who has the same amount of thanked posts as me.

What is the point in this? This would lead to no one thanking anyone

You could only start it since thanks came in, and you also need more than 50 posts or something

I thought it might be a method to give a poster support without having to waste post space

    Hi CuLT,

Is it possible to see who has given the most thanks as well?

    Sure.

There's a couple of anomalous results in both thanks given and received where the count is 4GB for some reason (they are dumped from the results you see in the lists). Irritating, but ultimately trivial problem.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

That's a surprise. Looks a lot like the thanks received list.

Hmmm.. I didn't think I thanked that much!
