Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stipulations in a Will?

My situation is this I have a house that I would want to leave to my Aunt & Uncle. She already inherited a house before that they have spent years doing up. There was some dispute in the family over who got that house between her & her 2 sisters who live in rented accomodation & feel that they should have gotten it. My Aunt has said in passing that if she ever got money she would let them have the house. I worry that if this happened she would not really be benefiting from this inheretence, she would get my house but give up the other 1.
Could you stipulate in a Will that they could get my house on condition that they sold their other one? Does this sound crazy?

I'm just asking can you put stipulations like this in a Will?

Yes, you can make stipulations in a Will but there are limits to what you can effectively do. There are other issues too, tax implications etc. which you might not have considered.

If you want to make this Will, go see your solicitor.
