Was Hitler a good leader?

Nowadays, you often seem to hear people claiming that despite Hitler's failure in the war, he was a fantastic leader and got Germany into shape, and that he was in fact a great man. Anyone got any thoughts on this? For or against welcome.

Hitler wasnt a political leader as such he was more akin to the leader of a cult which managed to take over a country , the idiology of the party was a complete fiction and in economic terms it was completely unsustainable. There are no redeeming features I can see, by definition every dictator has to have an element of "bread and circuses" for the masses and psycologically short of being a complete sociopath, hitler might have viewed the situation as seeing the end justiying the means, but that is not much consolation.
