DVD-RAM discs.

    I need help with my camcorder which only uses RAM discs. DVD -R or +R do not work in the camcorder. the RAM discs record ok but when i put them into my computer ,the computer doesn't recognize them. I am told I need to format the discs but if the computer does not recognize the disc how do I format them?

    Not all DVD drives support DVD-RAM, is it possible that this is the case ???

    thank you, apparently this is the case . According to my IT guy in work I need an extra dvd ram drive. thanks again
