    Hi

i know there is house insurance covered by the landlord.

i want to know - if my belongings in the house is covered with the landlord insurance?

i wanted to make sure my belongings in the house are insured
    how to do this?

Your possessions are not covered by the landlord's policy, only the items in the house that he owns are. All insurers provide contents only cover, whether or not you own the house you live in.

Call a broker and get a few prices, depending on how much stuff you own and how expensive it is, it can be really cheap.
