Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DELL XPS M1530 - No audible low / critical battery alarm?

    Good morning...

I have a question about the above. There appears to be no audible alarm on this system for some reason. My old Inspiron used to emit a "computer beep" as in one from the motherboard or somewhere other than a normal wav file if you know what I mean? It used to sound even if the computer sound was muted. Anyway, this doesnt happen on my XPS and I was wondering if it's just a settings thing or not possible at all. A small visual pop up appears from the system tray but thats no use if I'm away from the machine. Can it be done through the bios or somewhere other than control panel? I've tried the settings in CP and set them as I reckon they should be but it still doesnt happen...

OS is Vista SP1 by the way. Thanks.

    Head
