    Hi all,
just wondering if anyone remembers a shop call the Hindenburg up off the road on Slievekeale.
Anyone have a bit of history on it or know why on earth the owners would choose to name their shop after an airship that met a disastrous end?

The lady that owned it was called Mary Jo Hennebry AFAIR. See your point about the airship alright!:)

That shop was named De Hindeburg, which is a Danish/Germanic (in origin)variation of Hennebry/Henneberry.

    Cheers guys.
I'm assuming there were German or Danish links in the family so.

    Many thanks.
