Recommendations?

I'm only starting to get into Trance really now, sort of a n00b :pac:
Really enjoying Daft Punk, Justice, Digitalism, Boys Noize and Underworld, anybody recommend some other artists?
SebastiAn and Kavinksy seem to be beasts aswell

Would appreciate any suggestions?

Haha yeah well I got that Dave Pearce Trance Anthems and 101 Trance Anthems, enjoyed stuff like Binary Finary, Faithless, Tiesto etc etc.
Also yeah realised I came across as a complete n00b haha.
But any recommendations based on them electro artists then

just pick up your bog standard trance compilation from your local shop.anything from 98 on.
check the artists and look em up.

This list could go on and on. There's quiet a bit out there ranging from techy to the to usual. If you wanna find out what's happening with trance, check out Ferry Corstens Countdown, Marcus Schossow's Tone Diary, Sander Van Doorns Identity mix. These are just some of many radio shows which you can download easily enough online and get the track listings. You'll see that some tunes are on each DJs tracklistings so hence they are popular tracks.

Now there's a lot of the stuff personally in their shows I wouldn't like but eventually you can pluck out the ones you do and eventually you have yourself a fairly decent selection.

Popular around these parts at raves and the like. Anywhere there is a collection of hippies. It seems to suit certain crowds and places eg. hippies in a field! Don't like it in clubs at all.

Tbh I do like Trance, but I'm only getting into it, so only really know the main tunes, Children, 9pm, Adagio etc etc
I love the whole scene of Daft Punk and Justice (don't know genre name) and would love to hear some alternatives.
But if theres any form of house/electro/trance whatever you guys can recommend go for it:)

oddly enough Israel seems to be the main psytrance place at them moment (from what i've heard).

Off topic, but is there really a diving club in Muff called Muff Divers?

You'll have to head up Felix and find out, preferably on the August bank holiday weekend when we have the festival, aptly named "The Muff Festival" (I jest you not).

To the OP I'd advise you to head to Liberties in Buncrana on a Bank holiday Sunday night, The last 2 visits I paid to the venue were on bank holiday sundays and they played a heap of classic trance music (maybe they do it every night,I just don't be there cos I'm off djing somewhere else!)
The sets were tight and they put on a decent lights show to boot.
I'd say go buy a heap of old Euphoria cds and give them a listen... I've started doing an 80s and 90s night in the venue where I'm resident (yes I am a commercial DJ, and no, you can't slag me about playing cheese cos tbh I just don't care) and it has struck me just how good commercial dance used to be during the 90s esp 97 - 00/01. Most of the stuff these days is just terrible!

Could probably check out the last Tellier album, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, and the new Midfield General which was produced by one half of Justice.

Yeah its a crackin tune alright, another one to check out would be Kaskade vs Deadmau5 - move for me. Not exactly the same style but you might like it!!

As for DJ Mehdi, his album "Lucky Boy" isn't great. Signatune and about 2 other tracks on it will warrant a repeat, but the rest just sounds like imitation daft punk filler.
