Hello, I work as a self-employed and would like to know whether I am legally obliged to put my PPS no. on my invoice. Thank you for any help.

ONLY if you have regsitered for VAT with the Revenue.

If you are not vat regsitered with the Revenue you do not charge Vat and do not include your vat reg no. (PPS No.)

If you are Vat regsitered you must charge vat and include your Vat Reg No. on the Invoice otherwise the other person (if they are vat regsitered) is not allowed to reclaim the vat charged by you.
