    Starting a not so serious thread for a bit of fun. Too give some credit where credit is due post the five best things about religion. :)

    Mine are as follows

    1) Holidays I don't have to take annual leave for.
    2) Communion money.
    3) Christmas Presents.
    4) Weekends (The sabbath and all that)
    5) The first draft of the script for the "Life of Brian".

    1) Holidays, that include extra pay at work. Sundays, Bank Holidays etc.
    2) Communion & Confirmation money.
    3) Christmas Presents.
    4) Movies (Not Eavan Almighty though)
    5) Religion class in school, which became 'do your homework hour'

    Personally my favourite was werewolf the apocalypse, they basically take loads of legends and formalise a system around it, in werewolf the Fianna are a tribe of fighters and lovers. Makes you kind of proud!

    Interestingly enough, there is an ability called "true faith" which can repel vampires or calm werewolves, but a person can have it in any religion or in themselves, which I am taking as the authors decrying organised religion. :)

    So I guess good roleplaying games should be added to the list, as In Nomine is pretty cool too.
