Quick paint question

    Hi all

    Is it okay to use standard emulsion wall and ceiling paint on the likes of skirting boards (already painted) , or would I need to get wood paint?

    You can but it will look terrible, won't take any knocks and will forever have to be touched up. Get the proper wood paint and it will be a far better job.
