Building a stone faced wall

Hi Lads Anyone ever have a go at building there own front wall?Plan is to stone face a block wall with limestone.I started the block work already but am a bit weary of doing the stone work myself.Anyone have any experience at doing this? Thanks Barry

Contemplated it myself Barry but went against the idea as if I fupped it up it would look cat.
But with loads of patience and a keen eye I cannot see why you could not manage it.

hi barry i tried it - made a complete mess & promptly gave up:)

imho don't try it, unless you're doing a very low wall, i.e. kerbing
