Xbox 360 Internet problem

    Try to set up a mates Xbox 360 online. Have everything wired up, but when I go to "Test Connection" my DNS keeps "failing", I've done it automatic and manual several times with no success, and when I go to Manual and then "Test Media" I get that the "PC selected" failed.

    My mate is using Eircom Broadband.

    Posted this on the Xbox forum but thought I'd get a better response here.;)

    More details? Is it router, or through pc? Does the internet work normally?

    First off hello fellow Dublin 8'er'.;)


    My mate has two phones lines, one is for the computer downstairs and the one upstairs is where I have the second modem for the Xbox.

    Internet works fine on the computer, so switch that off and then turn on the other upstairs but thats were I'm getting the DNS problems.

    Anymore you need to know?
