Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hmmm... A lot of good things about this game. The darkness powers are really cool. Overall level design is good. One of the levels in particular that you visit (on two occasions) is brilliantly designed and expertly woven into the story. The best thing about the game, I felt, was the story. The content and the manner in which it was told was refreshing and a lesson to any other developers out there. Its what really sets it apart from the rest of average FPS pack.

    Its far from perfect though. A does get a bit annoying after a while knocking out all the lights out. The last darkness power you get is too powerful. It makes the last sections of an already easy game even easier. And the main character, for an all-powerful killer fuelled by pure evil, walks ridiculously slowly. Then again, maybe he's just too cool to walk fast.

    If you're looking for a challenge then this probably isn't the game for you. If you're looking for a decent shooter that gives you something a little different then I'd definitely recommend it at that price. Although you might be able to pick it up 2nd hand for a similar price if you shop around. I got it for 20 quid a good few months back.
