Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure of the exact map you are talking about but here's one i found.

    vietnam.jpg

The dark red is the areas with high malaria risk. The lighter red are the places with minimal risks.

    hi,

I am currently in Vietnam (Hanoi) and I am about to taker a train to Hue, and will probably fly to HCMC from Danang. I have Malarone but I havent started taking it yet as no one I have spoken to has started to take it in Vietnam. Once I get into Cambodia from HCMC I will start taking it.

I saw another map somewhere that had minimal risk for the whole of Vietnam, except the central highlands

i was in vietnam last year and according to the tmb there was practically no malaria risk on the coast except for the mekong delta so the only risk areas were the highlands.
