Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey folks would really appreciate your help.

    The Recycle Bin is gone from the Desktop probably by one of the kids. How can I get a shortcut back onto the Desktop?

    Thanks in advance

    Vista or XP?

    On Vista: Right click on desktop - Personalize. On the left click Change Desktop Icons then click on the recycle bin check box.

    On XP: I don't think it's possible to remove the recycle bin without using a special tool like tweakui or something, so if you are on XP, are all your icons displayed? Nothing is hidden off screen?

    with XP, you can enable/disable the default desktop items by;

    Right-click on the desktop > properties > Desktop tab > Customise Desktop, and check/uncheck the Recycle Bin option!

    If it's not there, in the same window, click the Recycle Bin icon (full & empty) and hit restore default. If that doesn't work for you, you can always recreate a shortcut. Hit Win+E on the keyboard (or just go into Windows Explorer), Right-click & Hold on the recycle bin, drag to the desktop and release to Create Shortcut!
