    Hi

Isn't there a little Thai place on Parnell st called Bangkok cafe or something, that does one of the nicest thai food meals in town? I think it's stil there anyway (near Fibber McGees I think) Of if she doens't like Thai or spicy food there's that Kingfisher place up opposite Ilac Centre, I heard it's ok for your average fish and chips or steak or what have you. Hope that helps!

Mammy's deserve the best. Call the Winding Stair to book. Fantastic food, well worth the extra few bob.

01 8727320. Its just there on Bachelors walk.

Well, Jervis Street does intersect with Parnell Street!

Eh it's a five minute walk. I wouldn't go there myself. OP, if you want to go a bit further then Bar Italia in the "Italian quarter" on the quays is fairly good. 101 Talbot on Talbot St is also supposed to be very good but I haven't been.

This is great, i'm looking forward to having a fat day and trying all of these.

Thanks for all the posts guys, i'm not saying which one i took my mammy too, it might show favouritism but it was fantastic food.

Hey if you're looking for somewhere above pub grub, near by and quite reasonable I'd def recommend Rhodes D7 on Capel street, was there for dinner before, not lunch but was lovely atmosphere and good food. Alternatively you could head down to the quays and try Yamamori, wide selection of stuff and really tastey but if she's not into Japanese style stuff prob not a runner.

Had my Mommy up a few weeks back for the day so took her to the Guiness storehouse and had lucnh there so it was a two in one, wee bit touristy but sometimes its fun being a toursit.

Nehoo good enjoy and maybe post when you decide!:)

check out www.menupages.ie too, they usually have the menus for diff restaurants there, but be wary of the star ratings......sometimes the chef/owner/staff post the comments!!!
