Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi folks, quick question, be great if ye could help me out.

I would like to get into teaching. I have a Diploma in Architectural Technology. I would love to teach Construction Technology.
My question is this, I know i need a degree to do the Dip. Ed., but when i qualified,my course was changed from Diploma to degree.I was in the last class to get a diploma. i.e. Anyone after me doing the exact same course got a degree. Does this mean my diploma is worth a degree??
( i realise this is a rediculous question, but i would like to know for sure what the story is)

    Thanks for your time :)

An old diploma was level 7, the ordinary degree is also level 7. So your diploma is the same as an ordinary degree.

Note, the requirement may be for an honours degree, which is level 8 and is not the same as the old diploma.
