Xbox 360 optical surround sound

    Hi guys,

    Probably sick of these questions but I'm going to do it anyway :D

    I have an Elite 360 and want to use spdif cable for sound so need a surround sound system that supports this. Another reason I want this is because my laptop supports this connection and it would be handy to have both using the same connection.

    Anyone got any recommendations for 100-300 euro?

    For that price your best bet would be the Logitech Z5500. Only has 1 optical input though

    Yeah thats the exact model I was looking at but I saw a video review and its a little bulky for my liking.

    I'll probably go with it since its on Komplett at the moment too. I'm not concerned about one optical connection because it'll be in the 360 most of the time and I'll only be using it for the laptop sometimes.

    Yeah I have the Z5500, does the job. Seems to be the standard 5.1 setup for xbox users.
