Would anyone know if there is a bus service from Castletroy or Annacotty that goes to Shannon around 6:30am every weekday?

There is reasonable public transport in Limerick. Busses are operating in the early hours. Pigs can fly.

In other words: No. At this time of the day I'm not sure if there are city busses at all to bring you at least from Castletroy to city center and from there to Shannon.

    Edit:
That's the timetable from Castletroy (University) to city center:

That's the timetable from LIM to SNN (incl Industrial Estate).

There is a line - 341 from Bilboa Cross to SNN

Thanks for that. It is very frustrating that nothing is available.

I agree, in fact there's an opportunity for someone to start an Aircoach style airport coach service here, picking up at a few locations around the city, for example Castletroy, Ennis Road, Raheen etc.... and going to Shannon Airport. There'd be big demand, I'd pay €10 one-way no problem, I'd say others would too. That would easily make a profit for a bus operator.
