He asked a question, I answered it. Whats the problem with that?

I didnt bring it up in the thread he did.

Couldn't resist the opportunity to get a dig in though could you?

And the only reason I said anything was because you said -
And we are not talking about the dome in the later part of gandalfs post we are talking about AH.

Yet you never quoted or referred to that part of the post cause it wasn't relevant to the jibe you had to make.

Don't worry about it Xavi, it's pettiness at the end of the day. Lets just drop it here as there's really no need to discuss it now, it's in the past and I've certainly put it behind me. Obviously some haven't, that's their problem and lets all hope they get over it.

Ok I am sorry, If i upset you by not quoting the whole post xavi. In future I will quote the whole text.

I dont see why I couldnt answer Gandalfs question, I dont know Gandalf, I dont know if he knew it was me that RB had made the remark too. Why would I not tell him it was me.

And the charming remark would hardly be a dig?

Oh to have the old rolleyes right now.

You hardly meant it as a feckin compliment. It's ok, I copped on to the sarcastic undertones.

Doesn't matter. Posting on the soccer forum is a privilage, not a right. You got access to the forum and should be fully aware that personally abusing people, be it implied or expressed, isn't tolerated on the site and that you can be banned for it should the moderators of the forum deem it necessary.

    In short, be nice.

I mean seriously, what the fcuk is up with this guy?

Note the wording, in particular the word "people".

Anyway, I'm giving helpful advise to newer users on how to get along on boards, what are you doing?

    Answer:
Stirring shít in nearly every thread I've posted in on feedback today

C'mon guys, back on topic this isn't helping Castie.

So what is the good word from the collective pool of PI mods?

Yup, they don't seem to know when to quit. It's unfortunate that there's not more active moderation of feedback so they could be "excluded" from the discussions really.

    Anyways...

Well, as it stands, Gandalf23 as he's successfully derailed 3(?) threads in feedback now over something he created his own thread about and got his query answered satisfactorily (as he admitted himself). It's bizarre and is making a mess of other peoples threads.

Ye lads can ye please go get your own thread or else stay on topic. Chances of this being taken seriously go lower the more off topic stuff ends up in here.

To be honest with ya Castie, the thread is done and dusted. Thaed's not budging despite the overwhelming majority expressing that they think it's an unfair ban, the only way you could get it properly looked at is by getting in touch with an Smod. I doubt much would be done though because she's a well respected member of the site and moderator so her opinion won't be questioned all that often.

And she got her slap on the wrist just like everyone else, stovelid, and knew damn well she would and did it anyway ... which is fair enough, tbh.

As nesf used to say re: AH, sometimes it's just worth it!

Fwiw, ban for the "insult" is a wee bit harsh in this specific case / context.

Now, if being totally unfunny was a bannable offence ...* :D

(Mind you, if it were, I'd probably have a couple of bans to my name for that one myself! * )

EDIT: Nerin, gtf outta my head!!
