    castie, you made a remark you thought would be funny, it wasn't, you got banned, you won't do it again.

    the most important thing was that the comment was flagged as being unsuitable for PI and that you or other posters wouldn't get the impression that that kind of comment would be acceptible in PI, whether it's a jocular thread or not.

    my 2c would have been that the same effect would have been achieved by thaed saying something like "you better not say stuff like that outside of that thread" but maybe you wouldn't have taken her seriously.

    Unfortunately, the mods are entrusted with the task of making PI what it is. They obviously do a fantastic job, so if they occasionally make a "harsh" call, then that's an acceptable price to pay imo.

    whats the big deal really? don't take it personally, if you don't make any more comments like that, you'll have no more problems in PI.
