What would be the best way to achieve the following

a CCTV system to monitor activity at a remote building, probably to record on detection of motion. Standard cameras with some sort of DVR or a PC with card or IP Cameras ?

Remote monitoring would be a required and preferably by mobile through 3G. There is no phone connection onsite and no broadband in the area. The building doesnt have line of sight with any wireless provider(tested) and satelite is to expensive. There is a gsm gateway device onsite, it has a Three 3G card inside and the alarm dialler uses this to ring out in the event of an alarm.

With a setup like this how could you access the cameras with PC or mobile phone - dial into a standard modem ? Any help would be great

firstly dial up and CCTV dont go well in the same sentence. Most CCTV systems even struggle with broadband as they are so bandwidth thirsty. There are several that you can view on a 3g phone but its a waste of time. Tell me, is this site very remote or is there broadband available nearby? Would there be broadband available say inwthin a couple of KM?

Very remote no chance of broadband. My mobile does get 3G signal in the area. Maybe a 3G Vodafone connection would be an option. Is the vodafone data card availible still?
