Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TEFL Course

Mods - not sure if this is the right forum for this, feel free to move if necessary!

I'm planning on doing a TEFL course before I head off on my travels - just wondering if anyone has any experience of doing a TEFL course and which they would recommend. I'm currently thinking of either an online course (~E240) or else a weekend course (~E320) as there are no courses available in my town. The ones I've priced above are through a company called i-to-i - does anyone know anything about them, credible company etc? Also, is doing an online course going to leave me completely unprepared if I do get a job teaching English?

    Thanks!

I did the i-to -i one through usit, did it online as the girl said the weekend one is basically a lecture and you don't get much experience in the classroom. I thought the online one was great, your tutor is focused entirely on you and helps you move through the modules through email, is fairly handy if your prepared to put time in yourself.
