Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi - I will have about 18-20 people on a stag weekend in Westport and was thinking I should probably book something - but not sure whats best. Looking for somewhere that will take 20 people @ about 7 on a Sat evening, good solid fare (i.e. not looking too fancy, just good honest-to-God food, maybe somewhere along the lines of an American diner e.g. burgers, fajhitas etc.)

    Regards

    P

I would recommend o'malleys for the type of thing you are looking for. Its a steak/fajita/tacopotatoskins kind of place. Kind of expensive but most places in Westport are. Should be enough room for all of ye - Check out
http://www.westporttourism.com/pages/dining_d_l.html
Personally, Mango's on Bridge Street Westport beside O'Malley's. Lovely place, and the food has neevr failed me yet.... It's capacity os only about 25 people so you might want to ring up to book the place. 098-24999.

Maybe, if you're looking for that type of food, go to The Helm out the quay, it's about a mile out of westport into another "tourism village". Great location and brilliant food.
