Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What technology do they use to say how many meters each player covered during the game? Chelsea covered 144 KM as a team tonight.

Was thinking this myself. Pedometers on each player or cameras tracking them individually.

I often wonder this myself and cant seem to find any info on it.
I half suspect they make it up.

Probably the same as the ones used in the prem. They have ut at anfield, something along the lines of 9 cameras in each corner that can identify each player and their movement throught the game by feeding all of the shots through a program of some description.

They've an individual camera on each player I believe. Some computing wizadry makes it all happen.

Most big clubs use this: http://www.pzfootball.co.uk/ which gives huge indepth analysis on individual players and movements during a match.
