    Albums that you love yourself rather than a "Q" "Hotpress" or "NME" top 100 perhaps?

    Do iPods offer a unique experience when listening to these albums or what?

    Kid A is a nice album to listen to whilst lying on a beach taking acid.

    Indeed ,there are no rules to say you have to like this or that album simply cuz it's flavour of the month or year .

    FAIL

    These threads are utterly ridiculous. It's all about what someone's favouite album is or what they think will sound cool to other people. It's just the same thing over and over, just different titles, and mixing about the words.

    It's about what people think something is worth listening to

    Boards is a very big forum, I think it would be rather difficult to keep track of which treads appear from week to week. I hadnt seen a thread congruent to this, if I had I wouldn have originally posted..

    Well considering there are only two forums where this could be posted (here and in Rock&Metal) I wouldnt consider it that big.

    Surely the Smashing Pumpkins are a "must" for any Ipod?? They will lift your day & rock your world and also compliment any other mood/feeling you can imagine.....
    I would decide what album to choose like this;

    1. If you're not a fan and just curious, get;
    "Mellon Collie and The Infinate Sadness"

    2. If you've heard their music and like a few of their songs then get;
    "Rotten Apples- Greatest Hits"

    3. If you dont like 90's Smashing Pumpkins and want to listen to some new music get;
    "Zeitgeist"

    4. And finally, if you're a massive Smashing Pumpkins fan, then you will love any of their albums and will proberly have them all already!! ;)

    But some Smashing Pumpkins should defo be included on any Ipod! :D

    Oh, and also "Hot Fuss" or "Sams Town" by The Killers! :)
    And for those of you who have both of these, you need to check out their latest release "Sawdust", a collection of b-sides and tracks that didnt fit on the albums.
    Its awesome!! :D
