Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    *edit*
A while ago a case involving myself was settled in court. when i turned 18 i signed the affadavit to release the money. i was told 3 weeks and it will be released to the solictor. its week 4 now and the solicitor said that there's another 3 weeks to go.

Is it normal for things like compensation money held by the courts to be so much held up?

can anybody explain the inital three weeks from my 18th?
because of this delay i'm having to cancel a holiday i was supposed to go on. i was hoping to use this also as leverage to speed up the process.

any advice feedback about such normalities appreciated. ie; is this normal of the legal system to take so long?

Wow - this will be locked faster than you can say "the legal system will yield to my holiday"

Maybe I am stating the obvious here but have you rang up or called into see your solicitor? He/she will explain the process and why it is taking so long. He/she is your first port of call. Second is the Registrar of the court that awarded you the money.
