Hello folks. Not here to start any kind of
conflagration, I just thought this thread:

    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055295284

indicates a lack of timely/effective moderating.

    Sin é :)

    More specifically:

The mods (I'm not sure how many there are)
weren't involved in steering the thread back
on course, and didn't manage to distinguish
on versus off topic material. When the thread
was all over the stable door was closed, or
    was threatened to be.

Twice the mod came in and warned users, including you. What more did you want them to do?

The mod warned one user to stop
'calling people tools', fair enough, but
that was engendered purely by complaints
from contributors rather than any understanding
of the overall interplay within the thread.

I wasn't warned anywhere in the thread, or
at least I was officially finished before
a threat to lock was made.

My intention in writing this was to make it
clear to other moderators that a difference
in opinion in Animal Issues = derailment of the
thread, maybe this isn't obvious in this
particular thread because the subject matter
    isn't widely known?

Anyway, thank you for your time Gordon. I just
wanted to bring this trend to light.
