googled guestbook but there seems to be loads of them to choose from . is there any you would recommend . how could i set one up on my own server rather than having a link to one.

Precidely my point, there are loads to choose from because they are built in different ways, on different languages, with different layouts and different functions or options.

So how is anyone supposed to advise you when we don't know what you need?
