    Hi all,
    I currently have NTL ( i know sorry )
I am moving to a new house in august dont want ntl or sky if i can help it.
I do want satellite with as many decent channels as close to what i currently have and all the other decent ones to replace the ones i wont have.

So from my limited experience i think a Tirax 80cm, multi LNB setup.
Can i get high def with this ? also can i stick a sky lnb on this so i can get their basic pack ( herself loves certain channels )
after that i am lost. I will have 3 or 4 TV sets. 2 of which i want to receive all the channels available so i know i will need more than one box, again are these sky compatable or do i need their stuff ?
spare bedroom to have the normal or all and 4th is really just for internet, gaming.

    Thanks in advance
    Carlos

Yes, if you get a triax 80cm with multiple lnbs on it for different sats, you can pick up loads of different stuff.

Have a look here about the different sats and channels available, http://www.lyngsat.com/ - 13" 19" and 28" are very popular ones. There was a thread here before about a dish with even more lnbs (cant remember the name right now)

You can get some free HD content, currently on astra 28.2" there is bbchd/luxhd (itvhd is there but only available via pc or a freesat box)

For different rooms/different tv's will depend on how you cable it all up, the type of lnbs you use, single/dual/quad/octo connections, and also the type of receivers you buy and use of disqc switches.

No such thing as a sky lnb, but if you do pick up an sky-digibox and plug it into the lnb pointing at 28.2" you will pick up the freeto air channels they are broadcasting and their epg.
