Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As a regular user of the Cork/Dublin road these days I was wondering if there is a quick way around Abbeyleix. The town is the only blot on an otherwise fairly good motoring experience.

yeah, there's a dual carriageway from Dublin to Cork, opened before the end of 2006 as outlined in the NDP, Oh no wait......

you can take a right turn before Abbeyleix, then first left, straight through two crossroads and then left and it should bring you out near the petrol station near at the south end of the village.

buy the OS road atlas of Ireland, it has nearly every rural road in Ireland on it, got me around many a jam all over the country.

about 12 euros, pays for itself, if you value your spare time.
