Think it was in the other bubble thread where other posters proved the figures were meaningless as they were based on very strange methods to calculate them.

A national sale price index like in other countries would be hell of alot more reliable.

That would be much too transparent for us here in little Ireland, so we won't be getting it anytime soon. Maybe in a few years once the crash is over?

Does anyone honestly believe that the price of Dublin semi-ds haven't moved since the peak of the bubble? I doubt even the owners of such property can look at the PTSB figures without guffawing.
