Right does anyone know where to get the best household bargins? i've just bought an empty house and i need kitchen goods...washing machines,fridges,tumbledryers..etc.. Tiles for floors Tiles for walls Wooden flooring Blinds Curtains Sofas Beds etc..... Is online the best place to shop for these or up north or where...…

If you are going to buy new often the best policy is to buy all in one shop and haggle, haggle haggle.

Otherwise check out jumbletown.ie for free stuff ( and others too like freecycle.org and dublinwaste.ie) or donedeal.ie and gumtree.ie and buyandsell.ie and ebay.ie for secondhand stuff.

guineys are great for all those little bits and pieces, or you could also try your local cash and carry if you know anyone with an account there

I found Bargaintown brilliant for my sofa, table and chairs and bed.

Carpet express where great for the laminte flooring and carpets.

Pennys where handy for small bits like duvets pillows and towels
